Self-Guided Utility Box Tour
This blog takes you on a self-guided tour of all the utility boxes artist Becca Dwyer has painted across Southern California. From Newport Beach to La Mesa, this tour (without traffic) will take you approximately 3 hours and you’ll get to see 12 public art installations along the way.
How I Painted My Most Colorful Utility Box Yet
At the end of 2024, I had the opportunity to paint this vibrant, striped, and dotted utility box outside someone’s residence. This project reminded me why I love creating public art—I’m so grateful I get to bring joy to people through my work.
